Mission Statement

The mission of Shorter University International Society is to make the college life more valuable through experiences and, of course, more fun.  Shorter University International Society (SUIS) enables and encourages student commitment to active life-long learning, personal spiritual values, responsible citizenship, and community and societal leadership in a global context.

Vision Statement

Shorter University International Society's vision statement is to be a unique society or group where everybody feels like home where he/she is actually away from home.

Code of Conduct and Ethics

1. Shorter University International Society is firmly committed to providing equal opportunity in all aspects of members and will not tolerate any illegal discrimination or harassment based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin or any other protected class.
2. Members MUST be ethical in all activities and events.
3. Members MUST comply with all applicable laws and regulations within Shorter University campus and within society.
4. Members need to be friendly, cooperative, and respectful to each other to keep a positive and comfortable environment.
5. Everybody in the society is responsible for the performance of the society, and by working together to keep everything works as it is supposed to. Refer to previous points.
